Griffith Park Run, Los Angeles
Griffith Park Run is a multi-event trail and road event held on February 6, 2027, at 4700 Western Heritage Way in Los Angeles. The event program includes the following distances and divisions:
- 13.1 miles half marathon
- 5K Run/Walk
- Top Dog Division (no shirt included)
The half marathon route covers the main trails of Griffith Park and passes by several park landmarks, including the Old Pony Ride, Merry Go Round, Travel Town, the Zoo, and the Autry Museum. The course begins with a compact, flat trail for the first four miles, moves through rolling hills around miles five to seven, and finishes with a mostly flat section that passes Travel Town and the zoo. The 5K follows a flat, shaded perimeter around the golf course.
On-course support includes six water stations along the half marathon route and water at the 1.5 mile point for 5K participants. Portable bathrooms are located near the Travel Town Museum area. A roving first aid team will cover main access points, and a first aid station is available at the finish area.
Event amenities described by the organizer include food trucks, an event expo with sampling booths and an REI experience, commemorative die-cast medals and premium t-shirts for participants, and a dog-friendly Top Dog Division finisher medallion and pet wellness zone.
