About the race
Gravel Worlds 2026 takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska across August 21 to 23 and includes separate bike, run, and triathlon programs over several days. The event program includes a dedicated bike day, a run day, and a triathlon and duathlon day that hosts the USAT Gravel Triathlon National Championships. Saturday is the main bike day with long-distance road and gravel competitions, plus an evening 5k fun run. Sunday is the run day with multiple trail and road distances.
Race formats also include combined events that span days, such as the Full and Half Double (bike on Saturday, run on Sunday) and multi-sport Full and Half Triple formats that add a Friday swim to the Saturday bike and Sunday run. The organizer offers elite/pro categories with an application process managed through a waitlist; athletes submit race results and accomplishments for elite-field consideration. The event calendar mentioned by the organizer also lists related events during the year: a winter endurance bike series in February, a June Gravel Camp with coaching and skills work, and an October community 5k at Glacial Till Vineyard in Palmyra, Nebraska.
