Grasmere Senior Guides Race
The Grasmere Senior Guides Race is the senior category of the Guides fell race held as part of Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show. The show is a traditional Lakeland event in the English Lake District that features a range of sports and activities, including Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling, fell running, tug of war, paragliding, hound racing and a fun dog show.
The Guides Race is listed among the main fell-race events and includes both junior and senior races. For the 2026 Guides Race the organiser noted that registration for juniors and seniors can be completed online with EVENTS UP NORTH to guarantee a place, and that on-the-day registration was also available for the 2026 race day (Sunday 30th August).
Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show takes place on the Showfield, Stock Lane, Grasmere, Cumbria LA22 9SJ. The overall event programme combines traditional Lakeland sports with cultural elements such as classic cars, a crafting tent and an agricultural show. The show has stated that entry on the gate is free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
