About the race
The Granite Mountain Grind is a 50K trail ultramarathon held in Prescott, Arizona, on September 26, 2026. The course runs through granite terrain with rocky climbs, fast descents, long stretches of singletrack, towering boulders, and juniper‑studded landscapes. It is a sanctioned ultra event in the Prescott area.
The race is fully supported. Organizers provide three fully stocked aid stations and two additional water stations between them. The course is well marked and on-course safety teams are present. Every finisher receives a medal, and awards are given to first, second, and third place finishers in both the male and female categories.
