Granite Mountain Grind
The Granite Mountain Grind is a trail ultra in Prescott, Arizona, held on September 26, 2027. The event features a 50K course set in rugged granite terrain and is described as the only sanctioned ultra race in this area of Prescott.
The course includes rocky climbs, fast descents and long stretches of singletrack surrounded by towering boulders and juniper-studded landscape. The route emphasizes technical footing and natural granite features.
The race is fully supported with three fully stocked aid stations, two additional water stations, a well-marked course and on-course safety teams. Every participant receives a finisher medal, and awards are given to first, second and third place finishers in both the male and female categories. Race entry is listed at $85 plus tax and sign-up fees, and registration opened January 1, 2027 at 12:00 AM MT.
The event is organized by Dirty Goat Adventures, an organization that highlights well marked courses, supplied aid stations and intentional race design.
