About the race
GR-8H Trail Race takes place on March 13, 2027, at North Peninsula State Park in Ormond Beach, FL. The event is organized by Run Natural Coach and is the fourth race produced by East Coast Trail Racing.
Runners complete laps on a 2 mile loop through a non technical, slightly rolling single track trail located between the intracoastal waterway and the ocean. The park location provides campground access, an area for tent city and permanent restroom facilities.

- 8 hour race on a 2 mile loop
- 5K
Registration is limited to 70 runners. Registration opens October 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET. Race registration fees are not refundable and registrations are not transferable to other participants or to a future year.
The event is presented as a place for participants to record an ultra distance within an eight hour time frame or to use the course for long run training ahead of later spring and early summer races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
