NSB Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K - New Smyrna Beach
The event is a beach 5K run/walk on November 26, 2026, held on the sand in front of the Flagler Avenue Boardwalk at 101 Buenos Aires St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169. The course starts and finishes on the beach near the Flagler Ave Boardwalk and covers a 5K distance on sand.
Registration fees are stated as $30 for early online registration and $35 for in-person or late registration; registration fees are non-refundable and transfers are not allowed. Race packets (bib, event shirt, finisher medal) are available for pickup the day before and on race day at the Flagler Ave Beach Approach and race tent. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after November 11.
The 5K is chip-timed using disposable electronic chips attached to the bib; participants are asked to wear the bib on the front of the shirt, pinned at all four corners and uncovered. There is a water stop on the route that is passed twice and a water refill station at the start/finish. Free professional race photos will be available for download after the event.
An after-race celebration takes place at Flagler Tavern where participants receive "Flagler Tavern Bucks." Awards include top overall male and female, top masters male and female, and top three in age groups from 10–14 up to 80+ as listed by the organizer. The event is rain or shine and pets are not allowed on the course. Parking options include paid boardwalk parking and free spots along Flagler Ave and nearby lots; obey posted parking signs.
