GOYT VALLEY WILD TRAIL RUNS 2026
The event takes place on 31 October 2026 in Goyt Valley, with assembly at The Street car park, Fernilee SK11 0AR. It is organised by Wild Deer Events and offers two marked trail routes.
Goyt Valley is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Peak District, northwest of Buxton, Derbyshire. The area includes Fernilee and Errwood reservoirs, sweeping heather moorlands, mature woodlands and historical ruins such as the 19th Century Errwood Hall.
Both routes are waymarked and take in views around the valley and across the reservoirs.

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. The finish area includes an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. A bespoke event T shirt is available for £14.00.
