Blue Springs
Blue Springs is a trail event that starts and finishes at Palmyra Educational Learning Center in Palmyra, Wisconsin. The course route follows the Ice Age Trail and is out-and-back on mostly single-track trail. Courses are well marked with colored flags and require attention for rocks, roots, and other trail obstacles.
Choose from multiple distance options:
- 4 miles short course, red flags
- 6.4 miles mid course, green flags
- 13.5 miles long course, blue flags
- 23.8 miles Golden Gauntlet combining all three loops
Parking is at St. Marys Catholic Church with shuttle service to the trailhead; participants should not park at the Learning Center. Portable toilets are available at the Learning Center. Aid stations are cupless and provide Hammer electrolytes, water, and sweet and salty snacks, so runners are expected to carry their own reusable bottle or cup.
Recommended gear includes trail shoes and a handheld or pack hydration system. The event provides online results, free race photos, locally made finishers medals, post race snacks, and a craft beer token for participants 21 and older. Live music appears at select races.
