Get Roasted Turkey Trot 5K : Waverly, Iowa
The event takes place on November 26, 2026 in Waverly, Iowa at 106 West Bremer Ave and uses local trails. This is the third annual Thanksgiving-morning Turkey Trot and includes a timed 3.1 mile 5K and a separate untimed kids dash for ages 10 and under. Packet pickup is available the day before at Get Roasted Coffee Company (106 W. Bremer Ave) and there is day-of packet pickup at the start line. The 5K offers overall finisher awards. The kids dash will be approximately 100 yards; first-place boy and girl receive a small trophy and a $25 local-business gift card. All kids entrants receive a generic bib and a gift.
