Gardiner Dump Run
Gardiner Dump Run takes place at Gardiner’s Riverbend Trails in Gardiner, NY. The course uses single-track trails through wooded hillsides and along fields near the Wallkill River.
The main course is a 5K loop; running two laps yields a 10K. A short kids run covers 200 yards and is for ages 2 to 5.

The event is organized by the Gardiner Parks and Recreation Committee in collaboration with the Gardiner Trail Alliance. Registration fees stated by the organizer are $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Registration for the 5K and 10K closes September 25, 2026; kids registration remains open on race day. Participants who pre-register by September 8 will receive a unique T-shirt.
This year the event includes an athletic sneaker recycling program; donors receive a coupon for each pair of athletic sneakers donated. Day-of registration and race packet pickup are available, with day-of registration accepting cash or check only. Volunteers assist with parking on the day of the event.
