Frio Trio Endurance Festival
The Frio Trio Endurance Festival is a three day multi sport event held October 2 to October 4, 2026 in the Frio Valley near Leakey, Concan, and Uvalde, Texas. The event base is listed at 146 US-83, Leakey TX 78873.
The festival combines off road running and cycling with paddle and river activities, plus live music, food, campfire conversations, and amenities at Basecamp. Race formats include trail running, cross country running, gravel bike racing, mountain bike racing, stand up paddleboarding, river float, and several novelty events.
Distances and event types offered include:
- 50K individual and team events
- 60 Miles gravel race
- 33 Miles gravel race
- 17mi, 8.5mi, 5mi, 5K trail runs
- 4mi and 8mi cross country runs
- 9mi and 18mi mountain bike races
- Youth races and a 1 mile youth trail run
- Stand up paddleboard and Frio River float
- Novelty events such as a 3 mile slowest mountain bike race and a dog dash
Participants can pursue the Frio Fanatic Belt Buckle by completing the longest distances in the five main races. There is a Frio Trio Team Championships format for teams.
