Freedom Ultra Festival
The Freedom Ultra Festival is a multi day ultrarunning event in Bonney Lake, Washington, held September 5–8. The festival offers seven distances and three timed events with open entry and no qualification requirement. All courses are looped and keep runners close to Race HQ, which simplifies crew access and aid logistics.
The event includes the following distances and formats:
- 100 miles : 2,615 ft elevation
- 100K : 1,621 ft elevation
- 50 miles : 1,307 ft elevation
- 50K : 810 ft elevation
- 24 hour timed event
- 12 hour timed event
- 6 hour timed event
The looped course layout maintains consistent proximity to Race HQ so runners can access aid stations and crew support without large detours. Free camping adjacent to the course is available and allows early arrival, rest between efforts, and quick gear access. Events note that athletes may compete either self supported or with crew support.
Timed formats ask participants to cover as much distance as possible within the allotted time; pacing, fueling, and race strategy are emphasized. The festival presents centralized logistics through its looped design and on site camping, and does not impose entry qualifications. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
