About the race
The Freedom Ultra Festival is a multiday ultrarunning event held Labor Day weekend, September 5–8, 2026, at the private Kearin Family Farm near Bonney Lake, WA. The festival uses a looped course on farmland with portions on an adjacent trail system; each lap is approximately 3.2 miles (about 5K). Runners complete repeated laps of the loop until they finish their event or stop.
The course surface is roughly 25% mixed gravel, packed dirt, and grass, and 75% paved trail. A single central aid station and Race HQ sit near the loop, keeping runners close to gear and crew access. Free camping is available on site beginning the day before the festival and continuing through the event.
No qualifications are required for the 100 Mile, 24 Hour, and 12 Hour events. The festival runs multiple timed and distance events on the same course, and a separate 200-mile event is hosted the same weekend alongside the festival.
