Deerfly Trail Race
Deerfly Trail Race is a fall trail event held at Carvers Creek State Park, Sandhills Access in Fayetteville, NC. The event includes timed distances for runners and separate timed divisions for dogs. The event is limited to 200 participants. Cash awards will be given for course records. Packet pickup takes place Friday night, October 16, with Heckler Brewing Company listed as the sole sponsor. Onsite parking is available at the Carvers Creek access.

- 6K 4.01 Miles, timed
- 11K Dog 6.8 Miles, timed
- 6K Dog 4.01 Miles, timed
Registration opens April 15, 2026. General runner registration closes October 2, 2026; dog event registration closes October 16, 2026. Published entry fees are $45.00 for the 11K, $38.00 for the 6K, and $17.00 for each dog entry. Dog entries are for canines only and require a human to register along with the dog.
