Franciscan Rhythms Trail Run & Walk
The 12th annual Franciscan Rhythms event takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Franciscan Life Process Center campus in Lowell, Michigan, 11650 Downes St. NE. The event benefits the music therapy scholarship fund and land stewardship of the campus.

The course is mostly unpaved and winds through deciduous woodland, pine forest and a restored prairie planted with native species. Wildlife sightings on the land include birds, insects, woodland animals and occasional beaver activity. Live music stations featuring Irish, rock and folk music are spaced along the trail.
Awards include medals for Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers, plus 1st place medals in each age group. Food and drink will be available after the event, including water, snacks and the Sisters' homemade cinnamon rolls. Preordered loaves of bread are available for pickup at the campus.
Registration details provided by the organizer list a registration opening date in March and a closing date in early October. Fees published for the in-person events are $35 for the 5K run and walk and $15 for the kids run; same-day onsite registration is available for a higher fee.
