About the race
The Fourth of July Stampede takes place on July 3, 2027 at Wooster Memorial Park, Education Area Parking Lot, 5197 Silver Rd, Wooster, OH 44691. The event offers a trail 5K and a 1 mile run/walk on park trails and fields.
Distances
- 5K: technical singletrack with creek crossings and climbs.
- 1 Mile: run or walk through the woods and around the field.
Registration opens May 19, 2027 and closes July 3, 2027. Entry fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 1 mile. A portion of each entry fee supports The Friends Wooster Memorial Park.
Packet pickup is available at The Aid Station Running Supply and also at the park on race day. The first 50 registrants receive a pair of Swiftwick Vision "Long Roads Ahead" socks, with sizes distributed on a first come, first served basis at packet pickup.
Awards and recognitions include a custom Stampede hat or Aid Station cap for all finishers. The 5K awards 1st through 3rd place male and female finishers with Aid Station Running Supply gift cards.
