FOTO Thornbridge Outdoors 20 is a 20.3 mile walk or run around Thornbridge Outdoors in the Peak District on 3 October 2026, with 850 m of elevation. The course runs clockwise and includes a lap of the Thornbridge Estate before passing Little Longstone, Longstone Edge, Eyam, Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge, Baslow Edge, Baslow and Chatsworth, returning to Thornbridge Outdoors.

The organiser provides a GPX file from a route plan and will upload a more accurate GPX after walking the route. Much of the route will be signposted and details for unmarked sections will be included in pre-race communications. Checkpoints are located at Longstone Moor, White Rake, Eyam, Froggatt Edge, Baslow and Ball Cross Farm; White Rake will provide water and Eyam and Baslow will provide food and water.

There are separate runner and walker categories. Minimum ages are 18 years for runners and 16 years for walkers; walkers under 18 must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over. Prizes are allocated by age group including Under 23, Senior/Open (24 to 39), V40, V50, V60 and Over 70. Prizes are only awarded to participants who follow the route and carry the equipment specified in the pre-race information.

Entry fee is £29. The event is organised by The Friends of Thornbridge Outdoors and supports outdoor learning to increase young people’s access to Thornbridge Outdoors. Accommodation options at the event HQ include family camping, bell tents and lodge rooms. Dogs are not permitted on the event; well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome at the event HQ but are not allowed in Lodge or Bell Tents. T shirts will be available to pre-order.
