Forbush Memorial Classic
The Forbush Memorial Classic is the second of three Michigan Cup races hosted each season at Forbush Corner Nordic.
The event features multiple race distances. Exact courses depend on snow conditions.
- Approximately 12 km for senior skiers
- Approximately 6 km for junior skiers
Forbush Corner Nordic maintains 3.3 km of snowmaking trails, which can provide skiing regardless of the weather. When natural snow is abundant, racers may also experience up to 30 km of groomed trails within the trail system.
The race is held each year to honor a skier who made a lasting impact on cross country skiing in Michigan. The event combines competition with community time to share the trails and reconnect with friends as part of the Michigan Cup tradition.
Race day is Sunday, February 7, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
