Flatrock - Dacula, GA
Flatrock is a trail running event held in Dacula, Georgia at Harbins Park (2995 Luke Edwards Rd). The event offers looped trail courses that pass through miles of trees on undulating but non technical singletrack. Hills are short, typically taking no more than a minute or two to climb.
Distances offered:
- 50/50 Challenge
- 50K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 50K consists of two 13.2 mile loops plus one 5.2 mile loop. The half marathon is one loop. Aid stations are located on the course and are accessible to family and friends. Races begin and end at the same location.
Cutoffs are stated for each distance: 50K - 9 hours, 13.2 mile loop - 5 hours, and the 50/50 Challenge - 9 hours strict cutoff. The 50/50 Challenge lets a runner attempt to continue from a completed 50K to a 50 mile finish, but the full 50 miles must be completed within the 50K 9 hour cutoff to receive credit. If the 50 mile requirement is not met, no credit is awarded. Successful 50/50 finishers receive a challenge shirt and a free entry for the following year.
All entrants receive a Flatrock race item and complimentary race photos. Hoodies are available for purchase. Registration closes October 10. Refund, transfer and race credit policies apply with full race credit available until July 1 and half entry race credit available until September 1; bib transfers are allowed.
