Fire Trail Running Festival
Fire Trail Running Festival takes place on June 12, 2027 at Guadalupe River State Park near Spring Branch, Texas. The event offers multiple trail distances that run through grasslands and woodlands around the park.

The course is rocky and dirt single-track and uses the Barred Owl, Painted Bunting, and Live Oak trails. Elevation is relatively flat with about 214 ft of gain per loop. Historic average temperatures for the event are 72 to 88 degrees.
Aid stations include hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice. The main aid station is located at mile 0 / 5.2 and a park water station is at mile 3.4. There is also a water only station. Drop bags may be placed near the start and finish area.
Required equipment includes a headlamp for most participants and a personal water carrying system; this is a no cup race so runners should bring a handheld bottle or hydration vest. Ruck weight rules apply: 30 lb for competitors over 150 lb and 20 lb for those under 150 lb. Relay teams are 2 to 6 runners and share one bib. Only one pacer per runner is allowed and pacers are restricted to the last two loops of the 50K.
Park rules apply: all entrants must have a day pass, park in designated spaces, and respect quiet hours. Volunteers support race operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
