The Fire Trail Running Festival is a night trail running event at Guadalupe River State Park in Spring Branch, TX (3350 Park Rd 31). Distances offered include:
- 50K
- 50K Relay

- 8K
- 8K Ruck
The course uses rocky and dirt single-track trails on the Barred Owl, Painted Bunting, and Live Oak routes. The route layout is relatively flat with about 214 ft elevation gain per loop. Historic average temperatures for the event period are 75 to 90 degrees. The race is fully marked and supported with aid station food and hydration; no disposable cups are provided so participants must use their own water-carrying system. Headlamps are required for all participants.
Specific rules for support and equipment include one pacer per runner allowed only in the last two loops of the 50K, and ruck weight requirements: 30 lb for those over 150 lb, 20 lb for those under 150 lb. Relay teams consist of 2 to 6 runners and share a single bib for loop exchanges; teams must check in at the finish each loop.
