About the race
The Fife Pilgrim Way Ultra Marathon is a 90K trail event that follows historic pilgrimage routes across Fife. The route links North Queensferry and St Andrews Cathedral and passes through towns such as Dunfermline, Lochore, Markinch and Ceres. The course includes about 1,200 m of elevation gain and is fully waymarked and GPS tracked. The race is presented as a UTMB Index 100K category event.
Entry is limited to 150 participants, with a standard entry fee of £135 and an optional £5 charity donation per runner. The event age limit is 20 years and over and the course has a 15 hour time limit. Organiser provisions include medals and T-shirts for finishers, hot food at selected aid stations, and a shuttle bus for return to the start. The finish is at St Andrews Cathedral.
