About the race
The Fierce Fab Women’s Running Festival is a community event held at Historical Fort Missoula on September 27, 2026. The main format lets participants walk, jog, or run as many one mile laps as they like within a two hour period. A new 4 person team relay option is included for teams. The event includes event-day features and amenities: one aid station on course, porta potties at the start/finish area, parking by the Fort Missoula Pavilion, and a stroller-friendly course with a request that strollers start near the back.
Dogs are not allowed except for service animals, which must be on a non-retractable leash of six feet or less. On-site activities and extras listed for participants include glitter and face painting, music, brunch bites and a mimosa bar for those 21 and older, a raffle with prizes, and a custom BondiBand athletic headband for all participants. Awards will be given in categories such as Best Dressed, Best Dressed Group, and Most Creative. Registration details note age-based entry fees, free entry for ages 13 and under, and that entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The 2026 event benefits the Silver Lining Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting breast cancer survivors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
