Fever Dream Ultra
The Fever Dream Ultra is an endurance event held on the campus of Roane State Community College in Harriman, Tennessee. The race takes place on the home trails of the Roane State Red Raiders Cross Country Team, featuring a 2 mile scenic grass loop. The format is designed as a festival style event where participants can run, walk, or ruck as many laps as possible within a specific time limit.
Participants can choose from several timed divisions:
- 3-Hour
- 6-Hour (includes a Ruck Division)
- 12-Hour (available as Day or Night sessions)
- 24-Hour
- Relay teams (2 to 6 members)
The event includes a festival village at the start and finish area with fire pits, music, and food trucks. Overnight RV hookups and tent camping are available on the Roane State campus. For recovery, an indoor staging area is provided to protect runners and crews from the elements. A fully stocked aid station serves a variety of hot foods throughout the event, including soup, grilled cheese, burgers, and pizza.
Specific equipment is required for those participating after dark, as headlamps are mandatory from sundown to sunrise. Runners who complete 100 miles within the 24-hour time limit receive a custom belt buckle. All proceeds from the event support student-athlete development.
