Farmingdale Elementary PTC Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run
The 2nd Annual Farmingdale Elementary PTC Turkey Trot takes place on November 14, 2026 at Farmingdale Elementary School in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. The event includes a community 5K Run/Walk and shorter fun runs for children. Proceeds support the Farmingdale Elementary Parent Teacher Committee and school programs.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk with chip timing and online results
- 400 m Kids Fun Run
- 800 m Kids Fun Run
The 5K is professionally timed by FastScore Race Timing & Productions. Registration fees listed for the event include $30 for the general 5K entry, a $22 student rate for K–12, and $15 for each kids fun run. Registered participants receive a race shirt, and post race water and bananas will be available. T shirt purchases are available for the Fun Run.
Additional event notes include on site packet pick up at Farmingdale Elementary on November 13 from 4 - 6pm and on race morning starting at 9am, childcare options while adults participate, and allowance of jogging or off road strollers on grassy trails. Dogs are not permitted on school grounds or the Prairie Habitat Preserve. Parking is available on the school grounds. The event will be held rain or shine unless conditions make it unsafe to proceed.
