Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races
The Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races take place in Fahnestock State Park near Cold Spring, NY. The event offers multiple trail distances through a mix of runnable dirt roads, technical single track, long climbs, lakes and ponds, flowy descents, old dirt roads and abandoned rail beds.
Distances offered:
- 50K
- 25K
- 5.5 Miler
Registration includes on-course support with hydration and Ultra Fare, multiple full service aid stations, a post-race meal, event swag, and on-site parking. The races provide generous cut offs. Participants may drop from the 50K to the 25K, including mid-race, with the price difference non-refundable; upgrades require contacting the race directors.
Full refunds are available until 7/1/26 and there are no refunds or deferrals after 7/1/26. Registration after 7/15/26 does not guarantee event swag and is subject to availability. Active military, veterans and first responders receive a 25 percent discount using the code MILITARY at checkout.
The event is organized by Run Wild, a nonprofit focused on land conservation. A large portion of proceeds is donated back to Fahnestock State Park to support improvements and conservation of public lands. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
