Evan Kratochwill Memorial Community 2 Mile Run/Walk
The event is a community 2 mile cross country run and walk held on October 3, 2026 at Glacier Creek Middle School in Cross Plains, WI. The program includes an in-person community race and a virtual community 2 mile option. Registration opens June 9, 2026; online registration for the community race closes September 24, 2026 and the virtual option closes October 1, 2026. Online registration fee is listed as $30.00. In-person packet pickup and day-of registration are offered with a stated cost of $35, and participants are advised to register by September 23 for a guaranteed shirt.
Packet pickup will be available the evening before the event at GCMS and on race morning at the school. Participants are asked to use the front and side parking lots; the back lot will be reserved for athletes, volunteers, and buses. A course map will be provided for the 2 mile cross country route.
An awards presentation is planned for the community race, and awards are also scheduled for middle school and high school races within the event schedule. Live results will be provided on site by Prime Time Timing with an electronic board at the finish. Proceeds and donations support course maintenance, race logistics, enhancements to the memorial races, and the Middleton High School Cross Country programs.
