Epona 100 : event overview

Epona 100 is a trail running event in Wales that offers two long-distance options on mountain and borderland paths. The courses use sections of Offa’s Dyke, the Cambrian Way and the Beacons Way, and include mountain passes and varied trail terrain.

There are two race options:

  • 100 mile race on Welsh trails, start and finish in Abergavenny
  • 100 km race on the same trails, start in Talgarth and finish in Abergavenny

The organiser runs a series of related ultras across Wales, with events ranging from 30 to 200 miles. Events are described as community focused, with generous cut-offs, volunteer support and staffed aid stations along the route.

The 100 km event is presented as an option for runners, walkers and hikers using the same landscape as the 100 mile race. Entries for the 2027 events are listed as open. Results archives are available for previous years.

Information about sponsors and event partners is provided by the organiser. Practical race details such as exact start times, cut-off times and entry processes are published separately by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
