Elver Park Trail Run
The Elver Park Trail Run takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Elver Park in Madison, 1250 McKenna Blvd, Madison, WI 53719. The event offers multiple trail distances and post-race activities at the Main Shelter.
Distances offered:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run or Walk
- 1K Kids Fun Run (free, usually led by a large friendly rabbit or bear)
All courses start and finish behind the Elver Main Shelter. The 5K and 10K head west along the same 5K segment; 5K participants finish at the shelter while 10K participants continue onto an additional east-side segment. Courses are marked with flags and signage. The kids 1K follows the Valley Loop path and is led by a friendly animal with several sweepers to keep children on course.
Registration is offered with two rate levels: a lower preregistration rate and a higher race-day rate. Adult and student prices differ between those two options. A t-shirt can be added during registration for an additional fee. Timing will be done by hand and results are posted later the same day.
After the races there will be a social gathering with snacks, drinks, yard games, and a raffle. Volunteers and bakers are sought to help with the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
