Eight Crazy Hours
Eight Crazy Hours is a multi-distance running and walking event held in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, at Saddle River County Park near 40 Railroad Ave. Participants use a partially shaded, flat paved 2-mile loop that runs along the river inside the park.
Participants have up to 10 hours to run or walk the 2-mile loop as many times as they wish. Timing is provided to record each participant's total time and number of loops. A fully stocked aid station near the start and finish area offers water, sports drink, gels, and sweet and salty snacks. An additional aid station near the halfway point provides fluids only. Participants may bring their own hydration container to refill.
Finisher medals are awarded to all participants who complete at least one loop. Individual medals are given for the following distances, and plaques are awarded for the longest distances:
- 2 Mile
