Echo 136
Echo 136 is a trail ultramarathon held on September 25, 2026 in Whitewater, WI and organized by TYDISH Running. The course follows the Ice Age State Trail through the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest and covers 136 miles. Participants are given 55 hours to complete the course.
The route includes a mix of wide groomed trails, single track, bike paths and road connectors. There are nine fully stocked aid stations on course with covered tents, chairs, cots, water, soda, an electrolyte drink and a range of foods. Aid stations and mile markers are based on the FarOut Ice Age Trail mapping and may be adjusted for trail management or field conditions. A runners manual and course updates will be posted by the organizer.
Event services note dietary accommodations for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free preferences. Runners with celiac disease are asked to notify organizers for food storage at chosen aid stations but cross contamination cannot be guaranteed.
Event rules include no alcohol provided by the race, no race day registration, no cowbells or incessant noise makers, and a cupless policy with refills provided for personal vessels. Crew misconduct can lead to competitor disqualification. Age requirements state entrants must be 18 or older and pacers must be at least 16 unless accompanied by an adult.
