The event is a Scottish Athletics licensed competition for the 2026/27 competition year (1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027). Online registration closes at 6pm on Thursday 15 October 2026.

Age groups follow the Scottish Athletics 2026/27 rules and include U12, U14, U16, U18, U20, Senior, and Veteran categories. Entry fees will be billed to clubs after the event. Published entry fees are: U12 £3 per athlete, Young relays £9 per team, Senior Men £12 per team, Senior Women £9 per team.

Awards include first three individual finishers and first teams in the U12 race; first three teams and fastest laps by age group in the Young relays; and first three teams plus fastest laps for Senior, U20 and Veteran men and women in the Senior relays.
