Downriver Rail Run
The Downriver Rail Run is a point to point 10K on the Northern Rail Trail that follows the shores of Mascoma Lake and the Mascoma River. The course is downhill and runs on the rail trail, separated from vehicle traffic.
The start line is on the Rail Trail behind 59 Main Street, Enfield, NH; there is no parking at this location. Finish line parking is in Lebanon, with bus transport from the finish area to the start provided. A listed Lebanon parking area is Geokon at 48 Spencer Street, Lebanon, NH; that location requires a short walk across the rail trail to the fields.
Participant options for arrival include carpooling, being dropped off by a friend or family member, or parking in Enfield and riding a secured bicycle from the finish back to the start along the Rail Trail. Bib pick-up is handled at the start line at 59 Main Street, Enfield, NH. A vehicle at the start line provides bag drop and transports bags to the finish.
The event offers modest awards for overall top female, male, and non-binary finishers as well as age category awards. The Downriver Rail Run is part of the Upper Valley Running Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
