Mortimer 10km
The Mortimer 10 km is a two lap multi terrain trail run around Mortimer Fairground and the local woodlands in Berkshire. The route uses footpaths and bridleways and is undulating and uneven in places, so it is not suitable for pushchairs, buggies or wheelchairs. About 85 percent of the course is off road with approximately 85 m of elevation gain and a time limit of 1 hour 45 minutes.
There is a canicross entry option with a separate mass start and a stated capacity of 40. Minimum age for the 10 km is 16. Race services listed include chip timing, a medal, race photos available for download, prizes, ample toilets and onsite car parking. Additional on site provisions mentioned include massage for a fee and local food and drink vendors.
Entry fees are shown as £23 to £25 with early entry discount for the first 100 entrants. Staggered starts and social distancing measures have been used and fundraising is carried out for the Ollie Young Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
