Divine Llama Haunted Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run/walk at Divine Llama Vineyards in East Bend, North Carolina on October 4, 2026. Registration includes a T-shirt (Super Soft Ring Spun Cotton), a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib with chip timing, results posted online, and a pour of wine for eligible participants.
The course is a two lap route through the vineyards. It is mostly grass with some uneven areas and several turns, and it is described as a scenic tour of the vines rather than a course aimed at personal best times. Packet pickup is Race Day Only and opens one hour before the event starts.
Age group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each category. Categories are organized in ten year increments: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. Winners must start with the first wave to be eligible and awards are available for pickup on the day of the event.
Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib; those minors do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate free and do not need to register. Dogs are not permitted on the course or near the farm.
