Dirty Kiln Trail Races at Canoe Creek
The event takes place on April 11, 2026 at Canoe Creek State Park, 205 Canoe Creek Road, Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Two trail race options are offered on natural park trails.
- 10K Short Course: loop around the lake with one climb of Moore's Hill.
- Half marathon (13.1 miles) Long Course: two loops, second loop includes four additional climbs.
Both courses use a variety of trail surfaces, including wide paths, winding singletrack, stream crossings, and muddy sections. The short course follows a single 10K-ish loop around the park and lake. The long course repeats the park loop and adds more climbing on the second circuit.
Organized by Allegheny Trailrunners, a nonprofit volunteer organization, the event directs net proceeds to predetermined charities and other nonprofit organizations. Registration opened April 27, 2025 and closed January 4, 2026. Entry fees listed for the race were $35.00 for the short course and $40.00 for the long course.
Participants were eligible for a 50% refund of the race fee minus RunSignup fees until March 11, 2026. The organizer stated there would be no deferrals or bib transfers and no same-day registrations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
