About the race
The Dirty Feet Trail Run #4 takes place at Kenna Cartwright Park in Kamloops, BC on September 27, 2026. Three distances are offered:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km
The park contains more than 25 km of trails with views of the Thompson River valley and Kamloops Lake. Trails include a mix of roots, rocks and dirt, with sections of double track to allow passing and stretches of single track. Terrain features gentle hills, sagebrush and tree cover. Wildlife such as birds, deer and coyotes are frequently seen in the park.
Course maps used in prior years are noted for the event and may be updated for 2026. Aid station coverage varies by distance: the 5 km course has no aid stations; the 10 km course includes one aid station around 7 km; the 21 km course has an aid station near 10 km and one at the finish. Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte drink, gummies, jelly beans, coffee and chips; 21 km participants are advised to carry water on course.
Race merchandise such as shirts, hoodies and hats will be available for purchase at the event. Optional participant medals can be bought in advance for $10 or on race day for $15. Entry fees are tiered by distance and may change with registration periods. There are no refunds; registrations may be transferred to another event if requested at least two weeks before the race. Prize awards go to the top three in each category for each gender and draw prizes require presence to collect. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
