Dirty Feet Heartbreak 100k

The event takes place at the Stake Lake Nordic Centre near Kamloops, British Columbia on August 14, 2027. It offers trail running in multiple formats with marked courses, aid stations, medical staff, and drop bag access at the main staging area (headquarters) near the parking lot.

Distances

  • 100 km solo or relay (up to 6 people), 8 legs, approximately 2000 m elevation
  • 50 km solo or relay, 4 legs, approximately 1000 m elevation
  • 25 km day race (legs 1 and 2)
  • 25 km night race (legs 2 and 3)

The trails include single track and double track, hills, rock and root sections, and a few technical rock features. The route passes ponds and areas with birdlife and offers views from sections of the course. The start and finish are within walking distance of parked vehicles and the main parking lot serves as the central aid and gear area.

Aid stations are placed at regular intervals on each course; the 100 km and 50 km repeatedly return to the main staging area so runners can access drop bags and their cars. Race rules require visible bibs, check in at aid stations, minimum carried fluids and food, and headlamps from 6pm. Pacers are not allowed and crew access is limited to the headquarters area.

Awards and swag include finishers medals for 25 km and 50 km and relay, and a belt buckle for solo 100 km finishers, plus event-branded items and coffee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
