Dirty Dog Trail 4 Miler - Veterans Park, Lexington
The Dirty Dog Trail 4 Miler is scheduled for November 14, 2026 at Veterans Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The event offers an in-person trail run, walk, or hike and a virtual participation option, both covering 4 miles.
The course traverses park trails and pathways along East Hickman Creek. It is mainly hard-packed dirt trail with some open grassy areas, short paved sections, and at least one crossing of a dry rocky creek. The course will be officially measured and marked for safety and direction.
The in-person race will be chip timed. Awards are planned for the top three male and female overall finishers and for 5-year age groups. At least two hydration stops will be available on course at mile markers 1 and 3 where water will be served. Race photos will be provided to participants after the event.
Registration details are split by entry type: in-person entry and a virtual runner/walker/hiker option. In-person registration and a separate virtual registration have different fees and closing dates. Commemorative long-sleeved T-shirts will be provided to registrants; virtual participants will receive shirts by mail. The event benefits the Hickman Creek Conservancy.
