Dinosaur Run at Twin Buttes, San Angelo TX
The Dinosaur Run is a trail event held at Twin Buttes in San Angelo, Texas. The event is built from alternating 5K loops; race distances and timed entries are formed by repeating those loops in a prescribed alternating order.
Location: 5640 Twin Buttes Marina Park Road, San Angelo, TX 76904, United States.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K: One 5K loop.
- 10K: One of each 5K loop.
- 2 Hour: Complete as many alternating 5K loops as possible in two hours.
- 4 Hour: Complete as many alternating 5K loops as possible in four hours.
- 6 Hour: Complete as many alternating 5K loops as possible in six hours.
- 24 Hour: Complete as many alternating 5K loops as possible in twenty four hours.
For distances that require alternating loops, participants must alternate correctly to be eligible for age group awards. For example, repeating the same loop twice in a row during the 6 Hour option makes a participant ineligible for an age group award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
