Devon Coast to Coast

The Devon Coast to Coast follows the Two Moors Way across Devon from Wembury on the south coast to Lynmouth on the north coast, using the 17 mile Erme-Plym Trail to reach the main route at Ivybridge. The full route crosses the county, passes through Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks and briefly enters Somerset before returning to Devon. The organiser provides fully stocked checkpoints with hot drinks and hot food, and support teams are permitted to meet participants at key locations. Live GPS tracking is included.

The event is offered in multiple distance options:

  • 112 miles (180 km) non-stop Wembury to Lynmouth, 38 hour time limit.
  • 75 km Wembury to Chagford, includes a full Dartmoor crossing, 14 hour time limit.
  • 100 km Chagford to Lynmouth, covers mid Devon and Exmoor, 25 hour time limit.
  • Exmoor In A Day (marathon) West Anstey to Lynmouth, open to runners and walkers, 13 hour time limit.

The route is waymarked but not always obvious; some open moorland and field sections require navigation. A GPX file is available and the route can be followed on Outdoor Active or similar apps. Optional pre-event transport runs from the finish to each start location; there is no return transport after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
