Delaware River Loop Series
The Delaware River Loop Series is a non-competitive, no time limit winter running series presented by Uptown Gentlefriends. The series runs from October 2026 to February 2027 and comprises six loops completed within less than six months, totaling 66 miles along the Delaware River in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including the Delaware and Raritan Canal and the Delaware Canal.
The series comprises the following loop distances:
- 6.6 miles
- 7.1 miles
- 7.3 miles
- 11.1 miles
- 14.8 miles
- 18.9 miles
The course traverses seven bridges and includes a mix of loop and occasional out-and-back routing when trails are closed. Group runs are scheduled at multiple locations along the river corridor, and participants may also complete loops individually before February 21, 2027. Proof of completion must be submitted to the organizer for tracking.
The entry fee is $15, which covers at least one fully stocked aid station per group run and a unique handmade finisher award for first time finishers. Repeat finishers receive different gifts and may earn membership in the Steam Mule Stable. Registration is strictly limited to 100 registrants.
