Défi de la Tortue - Shawinigan
Défi de la Tortue is an annual event held in Shawinigan, QC. It offers timed walking and running events in individual or four-person team formats. Available formats include 6 hours and 12 hours, along with a mini challenge of 2 hours and a marathon option.

Competition rules require identification at the marker, that walkers yield the inner lane to runners, verbal contact with the lap marker at each pass for laps to be counted, notifying the lap counter when withdrawing, only one team member on the track at a time with changes in the designated exchange area, no littering, and no strollers or carts on the track.
