Défis du Parc
Défis du Parc is a series of road cycling, trail running and walking events held in Parc national de la Mauricie, in Shawinigan. The listed edition is the 19th, scheduled for 11 to 13 September 2026. The organizer notes eight challenges, about 200 volunteers and around 3 000 participants.
Routes include varied distances and elevation profiles, with some courses reserved exclusively for participants for a day. The site describes recently resurfaced asphalt, winding roads with steady elevation changes, scenic viewpoints and restricted vehicle traffic on certain sections. The event also references eco-responsible initiatives and a fundraising ride affiliated with the Canadian Cancer Society.
