Esprit-Sain Run - Suicide Prevention : October 18, 2026
The Esprit-Sain Run takes place at Collège Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption (CNDA) in Nicolet and offers several race options for two age categories. Distances include:
- 1 km run and walk (17 years and under)
- 3 km run and walk (17 years and under)
- 5 km run and walk (17 years and under)
- 10 km run (17 years and under)
- 21.1 km run (17 years and under)
- 1 km run and walk (18 years and over)
- 3 km run and walk (18 years and over)
- 5 km run and walk (18 years and over)
- 10 km run (18 years and over)
- 21.1 km run (18 years and over)
The course has no elevation change and is mostly on unpaved trail. It is accessible to racing wheelchairs and strollers. Animals are not allowed on site or on the course.
Bib pickup is available Friday October 16 at the CNDA Sports Complex from 16:30 to 19:30, or on race day 60 minutes before the start. Parking is available at the École nationale de police du Québec, 350 Rue Marguerite d'Youville.
Aid stations are provided by distance: one for 3 km, two for 5 km, four for 10 km, and eight for 21.1 km. Reusable cups are used at aid stations and a water station is available on site; participants are asked to bring a reusable water bottle. Toilets and a changing area are available on site, and one toilet is located on the course behind École secondaire Jean-Nicolet near the soccer fields entrance.
One hundred percent of registration fees are donated to suicide prevention. The event partners with Fondation Prévention du suicide Accalmie and with regional schools. Since 2014, a total of $245,500 has been given, including $182,000 to the foundation and $63,500 to schools. Donations can be added during payment, no receipt will be issued.
