About the race
Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 2/3 is a trail race held as part of a three-race autumn series on 2, 9 and 16 September 2027. The event uses a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway and consists of two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF.
The course is described as fast and flat with around 25 m of total elevation over 5 km. The series is open to participants aged 11 and over. Each race is marshalled and offers prizes. Entry for the event has an advertised fee of £6.50 and entries close on 8 September 2027. Monies from the series will be donated to local causes. The organiser is Run JMC and the series is licensed under ARC 27/0069.
