Clipston Trail Races
Scheduled for Sunday 19 September 2027 (date TBC), the Clipston Trail Races include a half marathon and a country 5 miler on trails around Clipston in Northamptonshire. The courses use bridleways, footpaths and short sections of minor country roads and offer views across the surrounding countryside.

- Country 5 Miler (entry £18, about 5 miles)
Both races start opposite the pavilion at Clipston Recreation Ground and immediately head uphill into the countryside. The half marathon follows bridleways and minor roads, with a final section from Kelmarsh back to Clipston on a footpath. The total ascent on the half marathon is 237 m. GPX files are available for the half marathon route. Water stations are provided on course: four for the half marathon and one for the 5 miler; competitors are asked to bring their own cup to refill.
The event is organised in conjunction with Clipston Recreation Field Trust, a charity that maintains the playing fields, woodland and pavilion. Funds raised support maintenance and development of these facilities, including replacement of the tennis courts as needed. Finishers receive medals and homemade cakes prepared by Clipston WI. Free parking is available on-site. Because the route crosses working farms, the race is not suitable for canicross. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
