About the race

Climb for the Kids at Casa Connor is a stair-climb fundraiser on October 24, 2026 at the Calgary Tower (101 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB). The event raises funds for children and youth with special needs through MCA Mexico’s Canadian Angels Foundation and supports programs at Casa Connor and Pasitos de Luz in Mexico.

Participants climb 802 stairs to reach the tower observation deck at 191 metres. The event is open to all ages; participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian. Registration opens on September 13 and closes October 18. The stated registration fee is CA$55.76; registration fees are non‑refundable.

Event registration includes a medal, a downloadable certificate of completion, a Climb for the Kids T-shirt in youth or unisex sizes, bottled water and snacks, and a waived tower admission fee valued at CA$25. The top fundraiser in the age 16 and under category receives a special prize. Costumes are permitted and a prize is awarded for the most unique outfit. The climb is not chip timed; participants may self-time.

Package pick up is scheduled for October 18 at Strides Running Store (3566 Garrison Gate SW, Calgary).
