Event Overview
The Circle Endurance Event is a USATF-sanctioned track race held at Ringgold High School in Ringgold, Georgia. Organized by the Chattanooga Track Club, the event takes place on a turf venue where participants run on a 0.25-mile track. Runners aim to complete as many laps as possible within their chosen time limit.
Participants can choose from four timed options:
- 24 Hour
- 12 Hour
- 6 Hour
- 3 Hour
The event features specific age requirements. The 3-hour race is open to all ages, while the 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour events are restricted to individuals 18 years of age and older.
Course and Logistics
The race is a cup-free event, meaning participants must provide their own hydration systems. While an aid station with drinks and snacks is available, runners are responsible for their own specific nutritional needs. Participants may set up personal pit areas in the infield, though tent stakes are prohibited on the turf.
Support crews are permitted in designated areas near the start line, but pacers are only allowed if they are registered race participants. Final results are determined by the number of total laps completed. The event is part of the Chattanooga Ultra Championship Series, which also includes the MAD Backyard Ultra and the Locomotion Endurance Event.
Awards
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, as well as masters and grandmasters categories. Special recognition, such as a belt buckle for 100 miles in the 24-hour race, is awarded for reaching specific mileage milestones. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
