About the race
The Chiemgau Trail Run is a trail running weekend in the Achental with base in Kurpark Marquartstein, scheduled for 24 October 2026. The event has been held in Marquartstein since 2017 and takes place in the Chiemgauer Alpen region of Bavaria. It offers four official race distances and a mountain trail setting.
The weekend program combines trail races with event features and athlete services. The schedule includes start number pickup and late registration (late-entry fee stated as 20€), an expo with food trucks and DJ music, lectures, a race briefing, award ceremonies and an informal after‑run beer. The traditional Hochplatten Berglauf is integrated into the weekend program. Cut-off times apply for some distances and there are separate starts within the M distance (M1 for competitive/ambitious runners and M2 for the enjoyment group).
The organizer is Hartmann GmbH and the venue is Kurpark Marquartstein. Media coverage and photo galleries from past editions are part of the event program and archives.
