About the race
The Ebbser Koasamarsch is scheduled as the 57th edition on 12 June 2027 in Ebbs. The event started as a hiking march and in recent years has run trail races in parallel to the walking programme. The organisers expanded the selection of shorter routes for 2027; the KOASA‑Easy‑Trail‑8k is a short circuit around Ebbs with the Kaisergebirge regularly in view.
The event offers several trailrun options with distinct distances and elevation gains:
- KOASA-Höllenritt: 20.0 km, 1000 m ascent
- KOASA-Classic-Run: 33.0 km, 1910 m ascent
- KOASA-55-Panorama-Trail: 55.0 km, 3900 m ascent
- KOASA-Easy-Trail-8k: 8.0 km, 240 m ascent
Hiking options are part of the programme and were extended to include compact valley walks and longer mountain marches:
- KOASA-20er Wanderung: 20.0 km, 1000 m ascent
- KOASA-33er Wanderung: 33.0 km, 1910 m ascent
- KOASA-Marsch Talwanderung "8er": 8.0 km, 240 m ascent
- KOASA-Marsch Talwanderung "5er": 5.0 km, 20 m ascent
Past editions published full results and summary media. The previous edition recorded about 1,200 participants from 26 nations and included both competitive trailruns and organised walking events.
