Cheshire Community YMCA Harvest Trail Race and Y Cup Relay
The Cheshire Community YMCA and Cheshire Land Trust are running a community event at historic Ives Farm in Cheshire, CT, with the start and finish at the restored barn on the property. Proceeds will support YMCA programs in the Cheshire community and the Cheshire Land Trust's revitalization plans for the Ives Farm property.
The event program includes a trail 5K, a team relay for elementary school students, and a short children’s Pumpkin Dash around the dirt path by the barn. Family-friendly activities on site include pumpkin decorating, face painting, Halloween mask making, games, live music, and a fall theme photo booth.
There are also free training series offered in advance. A six-week series is available for elementary-aged students at 435 North Brooksvale Rd., and a separate six-week training series is offered for adults preparing for the Harvest Trail Race.

- 5K trail race on groomed wooded paths and open fields
- 5K Y Cup Relay, teams of three elementary students, each runs one mile
- 400 m Pumpkin Dash for children 6 years and younger
